David Steward, MD, Director of Thyroid/Parathyroid Disorders in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, was one of two recipients of the annual George Adams Young Faculty Award, presented by the Middle Section of the Triological Society. The award was established by the late George Adams, MD, former Professor and Chair at the University of Minnesota, to recognize the contributions of an academic otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon in the Middle Section of The Triological Society who is in the early phase of his or her career development.

Dr. Steward, an Associate Professor and member of the UC Neuroscience Institute, received the award at The Triological Society Combined Sections Meeting. The meeting was held Feb. 4-7 in Orlando, Fla.
