The Neurosensory Disorders Center at the University of Cincinnati Neuroscience Institute (UCNI) offers hope, compassion and expertise to patients who suffer from disorders of the senses. Our team of experts uses advanced technologies and procedures to treat patients challenged by hearing loss, voice and swallowing disorders, disorders related to the ability to taste and smell, and facial pain.
One of seven centers within the UC Neuroscience Institute, we are closely affiliated with University Hospital, the UC College of Medicine, the UC Barrett Cancer Center at University Hospital, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
We offer eight sub-specialty programs or centers. Our Adult Cochlear Implant Program, established 20 years ago, is a national leader, and we were recently named an Auditory Brainstem Implant Center by Cochlear Corporation.
And, with more than 4,000 cases performed, we are global leaders in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia.
